Corporate background -

Mariko has a diverse range of education, interests and passions. Mariko’s tertiary education – a Bachelor of business from UTS lead her on a 15year journey in Business and IT consulting. Employed by a global Consulting firm for 9 of those years, Mariko has been assisting top tier Financial Services and Wealth Management corporations here and abroad with strategy development, business planning, business process reengineering, large scale technology implementations and business operations.

Operating in senior executive roles as well as working with senior executives in various organisations, Mariko has observed that executives are still ordinary people with albeit extraordinary drive and talent. Recognising that the higher one climbs, the lonelier it gets and the more compromise creeps into our lives – perspective can be easily hidden from us. Mariko experienced and observed that it is easy to forget to look after ourselves, forget the passions that give us energy, neglect those close to us – our partner, family and friends and act without authenticity. Mariko established Mandorla to assist those who want to get back the balance, passion and authenticity they may have forgotten to make them whole again so they can achieve even greater success.

Other interests and passions –

Earlier in her career, Mariko found time to balance demanding work commitments with her passion for the water. Mariko became a PADI Scuba Diving and Medic First Aid Instructor at the age of 19, teaching people how to dive for over 10 years.

The last 10 years have been a balancing act with marriage, two gorgeous children, building a new home, nurturing relationships with friends and family whilst maintaining a career. Mariko knows first hand the physical, mental and spiritual compromises that are stretched to try and achieve balance and it hasn’t been easy. Indulging in her passion for knowledge and drawn to Eastern philosophies, Mariko travelled to Hong Kong and Singapore to learn Traditional Chinese Feng Shui from Grand Master Raymond Lo and Master Juliana Abram. Operating with confidence in Feng Shui and Chinese Birth Chart readings / destiny is a privilege and a passion.

Coming out of the closet -

In the last few years, Mariko has tried to blend her experience in corporate life and teaching with her curiosity to strive for wholeness and balance. Mariko’s thirst for knowledge and curiosity has lead to developing experience and qualifications in Reiki and Transformational Coaching and Mariko now feels it is time to give back.

No matter who you are or what position you hold, you are still a whole human being. Through a Feng Shui assessment, Mariko will focus on assisting you with the energy influences of your external environment. This energy can affect the way you feel, think and act and influence your financial stability, relationships, career and well being.
