A FengShui by Sakura assessment will make real and practical recommendations on how you can enhance your life through changing your environment to better suit you. You can make a noticeable difference by rearranging existing furnishings or allowing yourself to update with new and more modern products. Client examples of what we have been able to recommend for our clients are listed here and we frequently change this list to give you a flavour for the many varied examples that we experience and deal with in our consultations.
It is important to note that every year and month energy changes and can influence recommendations proposed overall. To continue achieving success with your initial Feng Shui in the home or in the office, annual reviews are necessary to fine tune your placement and usage of space. In one year a stimulative water feature will be ideal and in another it may need to be turned off for a period, otherwise bringing more obstacles.

Situation 1:
Financial situation within the home had stagnated and wanted to stimulate money luck coming into the home.
Recommendation / Action:
On assessment of their home, my client’s front entrance was not bringing money into the home. The energy here was disruptive to the family and recommendations to minimse were implemented. There was one area in the home that possessed unexpected monetary gain and with the current furniture layout, design and colour was not being encouraged. My recommendation was to put a stimulative water feature in this area with red decor (rugs, paintings etc) to stimulate the star 9 and bring unexpected financial gain into the home.
Review:
A number of noticeable events ocurred once the bubbling water feature was added and the front entrance energies were minimised. The client reported a healthy bonus from work at a time when very few people received a bonus. On top of this, my client found out he was getting over paid in his salary by a technical error for the last 6 months and in the end did not have to repay the difference. What a coo!
Situation 2:
A small business technology start-up with limited sales opportunities – a FengShui by Sakura consultation will provide the competitive edge that could be missing from your business.
Recommendation / Action:
The front facing direction and age of my client’s building did not attract positive wealth energy through the front door. Also, my client’s desk was sitting in an inauspicious section of an open plan corporate retail space. My recommendation was to immediately introduce metal at the front door and rearrange the floor space to clearly separate the product and retail business from the back office desks. I recommended my client move from a very inauspicious section of the floor to a spot directly opposite that would encourage prosperity.
Review:
Within 2 days my client started getting phone calls. He was able to convert these enquiries to small business opportunities. Not only did my client’s business get a kick start, but my client also received other unexpected offers for employment opportunities. The retail side of the business also got an influx of orders after the floor space and product was rearranged to activate current prosperous energy.
Situation 3:
Wealth ‘trapped’ in the hallway – maximising a families potential to generate wealth is one reason people seek a Feng Shui consultant. The front entrance is the ideal place to have prosperous energy. In my client’s case, prosperous energy happened to be in the centre of the home being their hallway.
Recommendation / Action:
It is not practical to recommend my client move the front entrance to the middle of the home so to maximise prosperity within the home, I recommended activating the hallway as much as possible. We do this through light and movement. In this instance I recommended opening up a closet in the hallway – removing the door and inbuilding a set of shelves with a display table. I recommended painting the walls red so the fire could encourage the prosperous earth of this preiod. The area remains active with a kinetic ornament as the display. Light was enhanced by installing larger windows at the front entrance.
Review:
Not only did the hallway look more impressive to everyone who entered the home, it provided a place to stop and place temporary items like keys and the mail. The inbuilt shelves were being used as a shoe cabinet, so this area has become a hive of activity. My client also reported greater positive activity with the families bank balance.
Situation 4:
Home Office in an inauspicious location – many small business owners operate from home. Maximising business potential and ensuring harmonious business relationships is another reason for people to receive a Feng Shui consultation. It is essential for generating and sustaining business that the office is in a good location. In this case the office had faded energy that was encouraging frustration when I noticed a perfectly prosperous guest bedroom upstairs was being neglected.
Recommendation / Action:
To ensure longevity and enhanced wealth creation for the small business, I recommended moving the office from its current dark and frustration filled room to a room on the next level that was better suited to a home office. This room contained current prosperous energy for business activity like communications, faxing and copying and it also had harmonious future energy for customer relationship building and easier study. I recommended situating my client’s desk against a solid wall so they faced the prosperous water star energy and were sitting in the harmonious relationship energy. I split the room so as to separate thinking and book-keeping from active business.
Review:
“It instantly felt better” was the immediate reaction. As this is a recent client, results to the bank balance and customer bookings will be monitored over the next 6 months. I’ll keep you posted.
Situation 5:
Child with sleepless nights and filled with frustration – children’s behaviour is very difficult to consult on. Being a mother of two young children I know how sensitive their behaviour can be to a wide range of external factors. However, knowing that you have dealt with all the internal factors first is another reason parents will employ a Feng Shui consultant for their family. In this case, my client’s child found it difficult to go to sleep, would wake through the night restless and chatting for hours on end before crying themselves to sleep again. During the day this child’s demeanour was explained as friendly and sociable, but easily irritated and frustrated by small events.
Recommendation / Action:
In dealing with people’s behaviour – let alone a child’s, I always conduct a Destiny analysis to give greater insight into the profile of the people involved. In this case, the Feng Shui of the home indicated the child was sleeping in a room with energy that we classify as Anger and Frustration. Coupled with this, the child’s Ming Kua was #3 which further enhanced this trait and I could see comparisons between her room and the description given by the parents. Her destiny showed her to be in a period of obstacles which would continue for another 7 years. Luckily there was a spare bedroom in the house unoccupied. This room had harmonious energy and I recommended she move to sleep in there. As well, I did an on site placement of where the furniture had to be placed.
Review:
This child reportedly loves her room. She now takes herself to bed at night and sleeps most nights uninterrupted. She is now old enough to express herself in words and when queried, mentioned that she didn’t like her old room and much preferred her new one. Her demeanor has settled down (perhaps because she is getting more sleep!).
